International Yoga Day 21st June 2019

Yoga is an antiquated physical, mental and otherworldly practice that started in India. The word ‘yoga’ gets from Sanskrit and intends to join or to join together, symbolizing the association of body and cognizance.

Today it is polished in different structures far and wide and keeps on developing in prominence. Perceiving its all-inclusive intrigue, on 11 December 2014, the United Nations declared 21 June as International Yoga Day by goals 69/131.

Universal Yoga Day plans to bring issues to light worldwide of the numerous advantages of rehearsing yoga.

To spread the advantages of Yoga, International Yoga Day was celebrated at Rayburn College, Churachandpur District, Manipur on 21st June 2019 with Students and Teachers in Collaboration with 27th Sector,
Assam Rifles, Khuga Battalion, Bethany Christian Higher Secondary School (NCC), Churachandpur Government High School NCC, and Rayburn High School.

To celebrate International Day of Yoga 2019 in a big way the College organized different yoga sessions for the staff members and Students in the College Campus.
